Summertime and holidays

With summer almost here and the school holidays rapidly approaching, thoughts are turning to an escape to faraway places. If your escape takes you on a flight across the seas, you may well be leaving from Gatwick Airport. And you might find yourself wanting to make the pace an easy and relaxed one, rather than a hurried and fraught journey to catch your flight. With no set mealtimes and situated in five acres of beautiful gardens and close to the countryside, Carylls Country House can offer you comfortable and clean self-catering accommodation.

All rooms are self-contained ensuite, also having a fridge, microwave, washing up facilities, a television and free broadband facilities. A welcome pack is supplied in each room, and towels and bed linen are provided. There are communal kitchens for more adventurous cooks although pubs and restaurants serving meals are just a short distance away. There is also a laundry for emergency washes on the way out or for fresh clothes on the way back. Payment can be made in advance so that you can leave for an early morning flight without disturbing anybody. At this time it is not possible for onsite parking between flights.

If you are staying in the UK then Carylls Country House is a good base for a Sussex holiday with many things to see and do in the area. There are farms, a stud farm, museums, a windmill, National Trust property, gardens, a country park, a nature reserve, golf and other sports facilities, and a cinema and theatre all within easy reach. The coast is easily accessible, or you might like to spend some relaxing time in Carylls own five acres of grounds. There is secure car parking and a resident manager onsite.
